Who is A Pilgrim of Eternity?

At the age of 27, Sean Patten made the decision to leave the decadent music scenes in Philadelphia and Penn State, and start over new elsewhere became the best way to start clean. Spending several years developing, writing, & self-producing in isolation lead to the creation of his new sound and worldview. Having always had a fascination with history and mythology, the name A Pilgrim of Eternity was adopted as an homage to the medieval alchemists and whose esoteric traditions Sean’s new artistic quest was taking him.

Now, at the age of 30, after working solo for years, Sean has decided to draft musicians from his past to form what is now becoming a group effort. Enlisting Aaron Pekar of Mr. Softee and Doofy, and Wilkes-Barre PA powerhouse dAve A Pilgrim of Eternity is better than ever.

Their sound and inspiration comes from an embrace of the Jungian shadow, and the drive to become both better people. Driven by Sean’s life experiences, (growing up watching Dr. Demento listening to Art Bell with Grandma, and growing up in central Pennsylvania) A Pilgrim of Eternity are crafting some of the most unique, and catchy, alternative rock songs in decades. With a musical tone reflecting such bands as Public Image Ltd., DEVO, The Beach Boys, Bomb the Music Industry!, and Eve 6, A Pilgrim of Eternity are on the precipice of something truly special.
